to love
our neighbor
So much of what we have is born out of the circumstances we inherit. Just being born in America creates opportunities that being born in any other country does not create. And whether we believe that we created what we have, or we inherited what we have, God says that all we have is His. The question is, what do we do what all that we have?
COVID-19 has ravaged the financial stability of so many people, but the virus has had a disproportionate impact on our black & brown communities. Local reports show COVID-19 hospitalizations & deaths among the black population to be as much as 25% of the total (Tarrant County), even though the black population is < 15% of the total.
Part of doing justice is stepping in to meet the financial needs of our neighbors (2 Cor 9:11). The M68 Project believes that the local, community church is most equipped to meet these needs. This is because the local church also has the capacity to meet emotional & spiritual needs. We are excited to come behind Pillar Church in east Fort Worth to help continue their effort of RADICAL GENEROSITY.
