The M68 Project is dedicated to the power of prayer.  We believe, despite our very best effort, that God will be the agent of change for the cause of justice and reconciliation.  Prayer represents our way to demonstrate a heart of humility and to petition Him for change.  There will be no greater action that we can empower than to encourage frequent conversations with God.   

Policy reform

The M68 Project believes that our influence in policy is an essential act towards the pursuit for equitable justice.  We believe that God created Government and its leaders live under His authority.  While justice through policy will never equal the justice found in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, we do believe that active engagement in policy-making is an act of righteousness for the sake of the Gospel.

Protesting

The act of protesting is at the core of American progress.  Whether the 'Boston Tea Party' or the 'March on Washington', public and civil protests have influenced change for the good in our Union.  The M68 Project vigorously defends the right to protest.  Specifically, we encourage people of all ages, creed and color to actively engage in civic protest to further the cause of equitable treatment for People of Color.

As Christians, the Gospel compels us to stand up and speak up in defense of the oppressed.  The Gospel also compels us to do so with a posture of humility and respect.  While The M68 Project grieves with those who feel helpless, we do not condone violent or physically destructive protests.

The M68 Project is just at the beginning of our journey to enhance the way our communities show compassion and effect change for the good.  As we grow, we will continue to add opportunities for you to act.  The Sign Project is an easy but powerful way for you to start.  Please be looking for ways to engage with your neighbors.  Check in on them, pray for them, love them well.
